Liz makes a fridge magnet out of a frame

I love the $1 bins at Michael's. It's always filled with fun journals, pouches, pens, etc. The other day, I went into Michael's and saw these really cute, little frames. They were baroque-esque and completely adorable. I just had to get one. I don't really have a bunch of extra space on my desk, so I knew I couldn't put it there. So I came up with this idea to make it into a fridge magnet!

You'll need a frame (any size, really), some strong magnets, some glue (E6000 or hot glue) and a razor blade or a box cutter of some sort (not pictured).
The back of your frame should look like this when you buy it.
Use a box cutter or a razor blade to take the back piece off.
Use some extra strength glue to hold your strong magnets in place. Try to place the magnets where you won't be able to see them from the front.
Let the glue dry and then put your new frame on your refrigerator!
I think it's cute as a button.
Have a great week everybody.
Love, Liz

  1. I want to do something similar to this for my wedding, but with black paper in the background and a silver sharpie. Totally pinning this for the big day!

  2. Helpful information. Lucky me I found your website accidentally, and I am shocked why this twist of fate did not came about in advance! I bookmarked it.

  3. The heat emitted from such appliances could lead to increase of temperature of refrigerator as well. Be certain that you place your refrigerator in a cool place.
